Traditional banking apps often lack the sophistication to efficiently handle complex customer inquiries and provide personal assistance.
Financial management looks different for everyone due to the variety of needs, goals, overall spending habits, and income. Thus, using a single type of tool to accommodate all these different users can create an experience that is tiresome, daunting, and forces them to go elsewhere to find what they need.

The first step for this project was to understand how users go about managing their finances, what tools they use, and how they feel about financial management.
Organize, organize, organize
A study of the site map was conducted to understand how the current platform works, identify redundancies, and determine how a new feature would fit within the existing ecosystem.
THE SOLVE
Integrate machine learning and AI tools to help users get a better understanding of the finances
InSights, a new feature added to the Chase banking app, focuses on making financial management easier for users. A quick assessment creates an InSights tab where all queries about the user’s personal finances can be found. Here, users can use predictive analysis tools, machine learning, and an AI assistant to gain valuable insights into their spending habits, track their budgets effortlessly, and plan for a brighter financial future.
